Gemini is making Google Translate even better

Today we introduced a new custom model in Search and the Translate app built with Gemini's state-of-the-art translation capabilities. This means you'll get much smarter, more natural and accurate text translations wherever you're searching. We're also improving live translation with Gemini's new, native speech-to-speech translation capabilities, which bring real-time, natural-sounding translation right to your headphones in 70+ languages. Plus we're expanding our language practice experience in the Translate app to nearly 20 new countries, and adding even more languages and the ability to track your activity and progress along the way.
