Check out what's new in Android 17

Android 17 is packed with features like floating app windows for faster multitasking, Screen Reactions for picture-in-picture recording, an optimized layout for foldable gaming and more. You’ll also get more peace of mind with new security upgrades, including the ability to lock a missing phone using your biometrics. These updates are rolling out first to Pixel devices, followed by other eligible Android devices throughout 2026.
